GPU-- a 'pitcher' at the Unite For Sight Global Health & Innovation Conference

GPU was chosen to ‘pitch’ our social enterprise mission at the Unite For Sight Global Health & Innovation Conference at Yale University on April 17-18, 2010. In addition, GPU was chosen to be one of 10 organizations to participate in the post-conference incubator seminar led by Unite For Sight’s Jennifer Staple-Clark,
 United for Sight Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Over 2000 attendees from countries throughout the world participated in this uniquely-themed social enterprise meeting. Jeffrey Sachs, a conference keynote speaker and Director of The Earth Institute, Quetelet Professor of Sustainable Development, and Professor of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University, described the conference as "a famous global crossroads" where thousands get together to discuss innovative solutions to improving health and development.’
